First go through and clear an area of enemies, then grab (Click the right analog stick) a 55 gallon drum. They are ubiquitous in most areas. Fill up the drum by physically picking up items and dropping them in and you'll have an instant "shopping cart" for all your stuff. You can even fast travel with it -- but when you appear at your destination the drum falls to the ground and you have to pick it all back up again. Note: Updates / DLC may disable this! Try using body parts instead (but Fast Travel still won't work).Text-Based AdventureIn the Publishing wing of Hubris Comics, some terminals will allow you to play a text-based adventure (ala Zork: The Great Underground Empire) called Reign of Grelok (beta). The objective of this game is to kill Grelok, for which there is no physical reward. Study up on your text-based adventures before venturing out on your quest: Use the commands N S E W for directions, and use basic terms to speak to people. Here's how you can avoid them:Consistent crashes after discovering Jefferson Memorial. This is a bug in the original retail version of the game. A patch was recently released that fixes this issue -- but if you discovered Jefferson Memorial on your own (not as part of the main quest) before installing the patch, you will continue to experience game-ending crashes. To fix this, go back to an older save point before you discovered the location and restart your game from there. If you do not have older saves, you have to restart the game from the beginning -- there is no other way around it. Note that the patch is automatically installed when you start Fallout 3 while connected to Xbox Live, but it cannot retroactively fix your corrupted save crashes throughout the game may be caused by the game's cache. On Xbox 360, to purge the cache, hold left-bumper, right-bumper, and X when booting the game (until START) appears. On the east side of this mountain you'll pick up a Recon Craft Theta radio signal. This will occur when you are just a bit north of an imaginary horizontal line through Greener Pastures Disposal Site to the far east. Search the east side of the slope for a destroyed house and you'll soon come across the source of the signal just west of that: a downed flying saucer. Its pilot can be found below the open cockpit (beware the radiation!). Near the pilot is the Alien Blaster and a bunch of ammo rods. This powerful weapon gets critical hits frequently and is the bane of Behemoths. You'll find ammo for it randomly throughout the wasteland if you're lucky, so use the ammo you'v got sparingly!Prototype Medic Power Armor The Prototype Medic Power Armor is in Old Olney in the far northeast corner of the world map. Since you'll encounter many Death Claws, you may want to set the difficulty to "Very Easy" before exploring this area. On the southern-most street Old Orney is a manhole. Use it to access the sewers. As you make your way through the sewers, you'll come across a ladder on your left. Keep moving past it and a downed Brotherhood of Steel Initiate will be on the ground. You can take the armor from the corpse. Here's the kicker: it talks! Oh, and it auto-administers Med-X when your limbs are Hacking HelpWhen you're hacking, the excess symbols between viable passwords selected and used to your advantage. You'll need to find clusters of symbols bracketed by parentheses, such as (%$*!^*&&), which can be highlighted as a whole. Submitting this should result in a removal of a bad password or fully replenish your attempts. Remember: you can always back out and restart to avoid lockout. Happy hacking!Infinite Caps (and more)Here is a great way to earn seemingly infinite amounts of caps, items, repairs and any shop-based trader. The supply shop woman in Megaton is an ideal choice. She has some high value items that you would otherwise spend a fortune on, including all the stuff for your house and a schematic for the Rock-It Sell her any stuff in your inventory that you don't need and complete the transaction. This will boost the amount of money she Find something in your inventory that you have two of, or that you have one of as well as her. Sell this found item to Check that the two like items are of different values once they are in her inventory. The bigger the difference in value, the better and the lower the cheapest item is the Now buy back the cheaper of the two like items and complete the transaction, but do not leave the trade session. Look for the item in your inventory. The game should have glitched and the item should have gone up in value dramatically and should be 100% repaired, even though when you sold the item initially it wasn' If it isn't 100% repaired for whatever reason, sell the item back to her anyway and repeat step 3-4, trying a different item if From here, the game will remain glitched and you will be able to sell the same item high and buy it back low until you have drained her money completely. If you want, you can hold onto the item as it will be fully repaired - simply keep it on the final round which will leave her with a small amount of Either sell the item back to her again once she is out of money, or if you are keeping it, sell her something else of high value and she will owe you that amount. The transaction price will go dim and remain at whatever amount of money she has Search through her inventory and find stuff you need. Stimpaks, ammo, miscellaneous item, weapons and armor are all fair game. Eventually, the transaction price will light up again and you may owe her a few caps depending on how much of her stuff you added to the deal. Complete the If you wait three days she will have new stock and around 350 caps. The longer you wait, the more robust her inventory will become and the more caps she'll have for you to take when you're ready to do this all over by smrtby123: if you do this with a completely broken item, then it will cost nothing to "buy" Mutant KarmaIf you want to earn infinite amounts of good karma, head to Big Town. If you go there at night, the town will come under attack from a Super Mutant raiding party. For each Super Mutant you help the few residents of Big Town slay, a small amount of good karma can be earned. Repeat this process as much as you want for the amount of good karma Your APHere's an awesome technique to save Action Points (AP) used in VATS. If you're feeling confident when fighting an enemy or group of enemies, simply aim at an enemy in VATS, but don't fire. You'll retain your AP but still be aiming at the part of the enemy's body in question that you were in VATS. If you shoot quickly enough, you should still strike the desired area without having to expend any AP Good Karma in MegatonHere’s another technique for infinite good karma. If you head to Megaton, you can find the church for the Children of the Atom, religious people who worship the undetonated nuclear bomb which Megaton is built around. There’s a priest who will be near the bomb or in their building. Talk to him and he’ll ask for donations. Give him donations, and you’ll get a positive karma boost. Do this as much as you want for as much karma as you Your ExperienceHere’s a great (albeit cheap) way to gain lots of experience. Before you do anything that’s going to net you some experience (such as picking locks, hacking, et cetera), change the game’s difficulty setting to Very Hard. Then, hack the computer or pick the lock (or whatever). Successfully doing so on a harder difficulty level will get you more experience. You can also utilize this technique on mortally-wounded enemies to gain more experience from them as well. Just be sure to change the difficulty back to a more manageable level when you’re done!Infinite Good KarmaOutside of towns like Rivet City and Megaton, you can find thirsty Wastelanders who ask you for Purified Water. Each time you give these guys a bottle, you will get a slight boost to your karma. Do it more and more, and you’ll gain more and more karma. You can theoretically do this as much as you want to any of these thirsty characters for as much positive karma as you DogmeatIf you want your character to have a pet dog in the game, then head over to an area known as Scrapyard, which is northeast from Megaton, just over the river. The dog is automatically named Dogmeat, and you can get him at any time, whether it’s early in the game or otherwise. The dog can attack enemies endlessly and cannot amendment from druidfire1: Dogmeat can die. Keep him healed using Stimpaks! Once he’s dead, he’s dead for GoodsHere’s an interesting way to avoid becoming encumbered by holding too much gear and too many items. Say you pick up a heavy piece of gear, like forty pound Power Armor, but when it’s added to your inventory, it makes you encumbered. Drop the item and then press the right analog stick (or corresponding button for PC gamers) to pick the item up and hold it in front of you. Since it’s being held and is therefore not part of your inventory, you won’t be charged for its weight and can get to where you need to go from there without being too Experience in AndaleTo try this, you’ll need to have the Mister Sandman perk activated, which will mean you have to be at least at level ten. You’ll also need a sneak skill of at least 60. If that fits your character, then travel to Andale. Andale is full of kids that can’t be killed (killing kids in Fallout 3 is an impossibility). During nighttime, when everyone in Andale is sleeping, break into various houses and kill the kids while sleeping using the Mister Sandman perk. They won’t die, but you’ll still be rewarded experience for having killed them. You can then repeat the process over and over again for infinite experience ItemsIf you have a sneak rating of at least 60, you can attempt this infinite goods trick, which takes place at Fort Independence. Head to Fort Independence with a bunch of Scrap Metal in your inventory. Once there, speak with Protector Casdin and tell him you’ve got junk you’d like to give him. In return, he’ll offer up Rounds, Frag Grenades, RadAways, and Stimpaks, and you can choose which you want. Then, save your game (in case you fail the following) and steal your Scrap Metal back from the Protector. Sell the Scrap Metal back to him over and over again, thereby netting you infinite amounts of ammunition, Frag Grenades, RadAways and Break A Bobby PinIf you want to avoid breaking precious Bobby Pins when picking various locks in Fallout 3, exercise patience. If you’ve failed opening the lock on the first two tries, chances are a third try will break the Bobby Pin. If you back out of trying to pick the lock and then immediately reattempt it, however, your Bobby Pin’s strength will reestablish itself, giving you several more tries. Repeat this technique to never break a Bobby Evil Items at Paradise FallsIf you have bad karma (or don’t mind having even worse karma), head over to Paradise Falls, a place a group of evil slavers call home. To gain entrance without having to open fire, you have to be friendly with the slavers, which will give you an evil slant. But if you can do this, you’ll find a guy endlessly walking around the settlement (he’s usually at or near the bar, but can be elsewhere). When you get near him, he’ll stop you automatically, tell you he found some cool stuff on a recent raid, and give you some of what he got (it will be either some ammunition, Bottle Caps, or various aid items). After your first encounter, all you have to do is keep speaking to him to earn more and more free Mutant Behemoth LocationsThe game’s five Super Mutant Behemoths can be found at the following five locations: Evergreen Mills, Galaxy News Radio, Jury Station, Takoma Industrial, and The Capitol Goods on Dead BodiesHere’s another great technique, if you’re carrying too much stuff and find yourself encumbered. You know how you can search downed enemies’ corpses for the goods they carry? Well, you can also place your own goods onto the corpse. Since corpses tend to stay around after they die seemingly indefinitely (or, at least, for a good long time), you can drop presently unneeded items onto the corpse of a foe you’ve slain, and then go back at a later date to get your stuff back. This is a great way to never become Experience in Big TownHere’s a glitch that will allow you to get infinite amounts of experience (as long as your Speech skill is high enough). Try the following steps:1.) - Go to Big Town and find the NPC named - Select the dialogue choice “You came here with Bittercup, right?” If this dialogue choice doesn’t show up, find Bittercup, exhaust all of her conversation chains, and then try speaking with Pappy again. ([Speech 100%] should appear next to the dialogue choice if your Speech skill is at its highest. If it’s not there yet, don’t risk trying to convince him. Speech failure will result in this glitch permanently disappearing.)3.) - Selecting that dialogue option successfully will net you six experience points. Speak to him again and you can get the experience again. Repeat as much as you want for as much experience as you Inventory SpaceIf you’re running out of room in your inventory and don’t want to ditch any of your gear, consider trying to find a companion character. These companions can be found at various places throughout the world and will agree to join you on your journey (temporarily). You can trade equipment with these characters, which will allow you to dump your equipment on them, making you virtually unencumbered. Consider this option when you not only need help with bad guys, but help carrying your crap as well!Hacking IndefinitelyHere’s a great tip (though it will be obvious for some people).When you hack a computer in the game, you have four tries to hack it successfully. If you don’t hack it successfully on the fourth attempt (as in, you don’t guess the proper password), the station you’re trying to hack will permanently shut down. But if you only try three times and bail out of the process before trying for a fourth time, the password will reset, giving you three more options. You can do this indefinitely without risking shutting the terminal SpottingIf you’re heading into seemingly-hostile territory or simply want to survey the area around you for enemies you might not yet see, try hitting the VATS button over and over again as you make your character turn around, searching all angles. Doing so will alert you to any enemies you may not yet see by zooming in on them in VATS mode. W wieku dziesięciu lat otrzymujemy pistolet-zabawkę na kulki oraz naręczny komputerek Pip-Boy 3000, pozwalający chociażby na podgląd stanu zdrowia, umiejętności i zbioru posiadanych przedmiotów. Dzięki temu urządzeniu słuchamy również stacji radiowych po uprzednim dostrojeniu się do ich częstotliwości. Rozgłośnie serwują nie tylko oryginalną muzykę z lat czterdziestych i pięćdziesiątych XX wieku, ale także podają istotne informacje (np. odnośnie zadań do wykonania). Nasze przygotowania do wyjścia z Krypty 101 kończą się w wieku lat dziewiętnastu, kiedy ruszamy śladem zbiegłego ojca. Jest to rok 2277. Statystyki głównego bohatera przedstawiono w formie typowego falloutowego systemu (siła, percepcja, wytrzymałość itd.). Dowolne trzy spośród czternastu cech można rozwijać nieco szybciej, niż pozostałe. Egzystencja poza Kryptą 101 jest właściwie walką o przetrwanie. Nie można obejść się bez wody (nierzadko radioaktywnej i tym samym koniecznej do neutralizowania medykamentami), pożywienia oraz rzecz jasna broni (np. rozmaite narzędzia do atakowania na dystans, piła spalinowa, a nawet młot). Używamy jej w ramach systemu walki o nazwie (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System), umożliwiającego w oparciu o punkty akcji zatrzymanie upływu czasu i namierzanie konkretnych części ciała przeciwnika. Eksplorując wirtualny świat poruszamy się po obszarze nieznacznie mniejszym od tego, który widzieliśmy w Oblivionie. Jest to rejon niegdysiejszej stolicy Stanów Zjednoczonych, więc napotykamy jej charakterystyczne ruiny (chociażby pozostałości Mauzoleum Jeffersona). Brutalność w Fallout 3 została silnie wyeksponowana. Przykładowo trafiony w głowę wróg żegna się z życiem w asyście rozbryzgującej się na wszystkie strony zawartości czaszki. Sceny tego typu prezentowane są w zwolnionym tempie. Konfrontacje z oponentami nie należą jednak do najłatwiejszych z uwagi na dopracowaną Sztuczną Inteligencję. The creator of the illusion is disguised as a little girl called Betty, who wants you to do lots of bad things that just ends up killing everyone, and you get lots of bad karma for it. Instead, you go to the abandoned house and interact with the objects in the front room in the right order to make the console appear. Use this order: Radio, Glass Pitcher, Gnome, Glass Pitcher, Cinder Block, Gnome, Bottle. Then the console will appear and you can use it to activate the chinese fail-safe program, which will give you good karma and allow you to get out. Just go talk to Betty and the exit door will appear. Secret - Super Mutant Behemoths There are five total. They can be very difficult to kill, as they are the most resilient enemy in the game. Usually when you encounter them they are being fought by a certain group such as the Talon Company, Brotherhood of Steel, or Raiders. These groups of soldiers will usually pack a punch on the Behemoth knocking off a good chunk of health for you to finish him off. GNR * The Behemoth right outside the entrance to the GNR Building is the easiest to find and is actually impossible to miss if you attempt Galaxy News Radio (quest). You will have ten Brotherhood of Steel members to back you up, though they are not invincible and and some may already be dead or die in the process. On a nearby fountain in the square you will also find a dead BoS member slumped on the fountain's rails in an almost picturesque position. The soldier will be in possession of a Fat Man and some Mini Nukes, which will be invaluable in bringing down the monster. However, keep in mind that the dead soldier will not be there if Sentinel Lyons isn't present in the battle. Evergreen Mills * In Evergreen Mills, the Raider-controlled train yard, a Behemoth has somehow been captured and imprisoned by an electric fence. However the fence's power source is simply a nearby generator. When approaching the area from the south the generator can be easily destroyed with any rifle (it should be noted that there is a switch to turn off the electric fence right next the the generator as well). Once the electric gate is turned off the Mutant will rush outside and attack the Raiders, killing most, if not all of them (most of whom are armed with nothing but 10mm Pistols). Because of gate that traps this monster, the raiders that occupy the train yard, and the cliffs that surround the area, the number of methods to deal with the Behemoths are almost endless. Capitol Building * A Behemoth can be found in The Capitol Building fighting Talon Company mercenaries at the west entrance. There is a considerable amount of fighting between Super Mutants and Talon Company so it's possible to sit back and watch the fun. You can also find a room next to the dome with the Behemoth containing a computer which, when hacked, will allow you to activate the turret system in the dome. There are several turrets that are activated by this command, so it'll likely make things much more interesting. Did you know that there are some weapons and gear that you're not supposed to get? All of which can be obtained on the PC with a console command, but what about the people on the 360? Fear not, for I will tell you how to break the game and get Dad's Wasteland Outfit, Col. Autumn's Uniform, Col. Autumn's 10mm pitol, and Col. Autumn's Laser are two ways to get Col. Autumn's suit. The first is right after your Dad dies. Once you start getting radiation, look around untill you find a crashed Head to the western side of the ufo, and there should be a dead alien with glowing ammo, and a pistol looking weapon, the alien .. After clearing both paths during the second part of the dlc, request a mister gutsy,and nothing else,from your commander and tell it to follow you to a secure area, then kill it and request another one keep doing this until the desire xp..Ps:make sure the guy following you doesn't see you. In the quest "Strictly Business," one of the people you must enslave is Susan Lancaster. After putting a slave collar on her, get your payment from Grouse back at Paradise Falls. After receiving your payment, go to the slave quarters in Paradise Falls and talk to Susan (you'll need a key to open the gate to the slave pen, so pickpocket one). Talk to Susan and when she asks for help, choose the option "You're a slave. Deal with it.", then return to Grouse to collect the reward again. Grouse will think that you captured her again. You can repeat this as many times as desired to get 250 Caps and a slave collar each There is a downside to this trick. Each time you talk to Grouse to receive payment, you also receive a slave collar. These collars each have a weight of 1 .. To find this bobblehead go to lucas simms house in Megaton. Its on a desk upstairs. Hello Fellow gamer's, whats going down um in the beginning of the game Fallout 3 you are stuck in Vault 101. To get out you have to (well this is what I did) kill the overseer take his key go to where this guy name jonas I think it is his name he will be dead go into the overseer's office and exit Vault 101. If you go to little lamplight, look for a little girl named knock knock and she will want to tell you a story, when she tells you the story at some point there will be a speech challenge, you will almost always succeed but even if you fail it, it will still be there, so you can just keep doing it. Easy Exp: This one is fairly simple, but megaton must be standing for it to work. First, go to your house or the store and get a couple frag mines. Second, go to The Craterside Supply store. (the shop in Megaton). Third, walk behind the wall that the mercenary is leaning on and stand directly behind him behind the wall,(just walk until you can't anymore) and drop the mine on the floor. Then, as quick as you can, disarm and pick up the mine. If you did it right you should get some experience every time. (It can explode so be quick!)Hidden Supplies:This one also helps if megaton is still standing. First, go out the main megaton entrance and take a left. Keep walk using back using the wall (megaton)as your guide. This place usually has a couple mole rats around it. Keep walking .. Near the Deathclaw Sanctuary to the west, there is a chapel. Go here and when you walk towards the front, a guy will start shooting you with a sniper rifle, kill him and search his body to get the Reservist's Rifle. The Reservist's Rifle is a special Sniper Rifle, that has only 3 bullets in a clip, and I think it has a faster shooting rate. NOTE: If you kill the guy, and his body doesn't fall down, you may have to stand on the Preacher's stand or podium in the corner, and jump and search his body in the air, because there is no other way to get to his sniping spot. ALSO there is some ammo and other things inside the chapel. West of Rockbreaker's Last Gas, there is a giant hill. And if you look, there is a shack on top of that hill. If you make it up and go inside, you will find a cage in the corner with like 4 Radroaches inside, each with weird names. Ignore them or kill them, but you will find a cabinet (or something... I don't really remember) that is a Very Hard-Lockpick (FYI: 100 LP needed to get in) inside is the Victory Rifle, a special Sniper Rifle. NOTE: In here there is also one of the Keller Transcripts (a holotape) which you need to get the MIRV Fatman. (There are 5 total) If you happen to fall off a tall bridge or something in which case you will almoat certainly die. Just before you hit the ground quickly save your game and then continue falling to your death then your game will load to the last save point which was about a metre off the ground and you fall from there and land perfectly safe Endurance bobblehead-Head down into the slope in the Deathclaw sanctuarary. It should be near the Brahim bobblehead-In Vault 106, head to the living quaters and go through the southeast door. Follow the path and it should be in the Bobblehead-In Eugloys pad in paradise falls. It should be on a desk. I hope these help you all out cause I know how hard it is to find them. After you do the quest blood ties you can talk to vance and get him to teach you to get 20 hp from drinking bloodpacks I beat the New DLC a couple hours after I bought it on Xbox 360And one of the many things in the locked store room are the T-51b winterized armor( also there is a gauss rifle with somewhere around 60-70 rounds,and a bunch of other powerful weapons)I didnt even have power armor training and I was able to wear it(and I was also able to wear outcast power armor too)I havent stopped wearing it since and it's condition never goes down( I've been shot, fire ants have shot flame at me, and countless frag mines have been activated and it still has 100% CNDPs. The gause rifle is one of the most powerfull weapons in the game( it's got a scope on it) also ther is a sword in there I suggest picking it up it is also powerfull( it's electrified ) When you come across a Scavenger ask them to repair your equiptment. Repair what is needed then kill the scavenger and get your caps back. You can spend as much as you like and always get all of your caps back, you loose karma but who cares First find a ammo dispenser,Then fill your ammo,Activate your pip-boy and go to the ammunition screen and drop your ammoThen activate the ammo dispenser,(your ammo should be full again)Then pick up the dropped ammo. This will work with all the weapons except the glauss rifle. First off for all the people that don't know what the firelance is,it's an alien balster but stonger and can set enemies on get the firelance early in the game you must walk all the way to whilhem's warf (if you don't know how to get there just follow the link) and swim east to the anchorage memorial where the random events you do not know how the event of the firelance looks like,you have to look up in the air and you will see a trail of black smoke and you will hear an will take a few ties before actually getting the firelance,but thats why we saved before discovering the memorial (it took me about 12 tries).Now once you get the event start searching because the explosion scatters the ammo and the firelance,the firelance wi.. If you have the wasteland explorer theme in your Megaton House if you have Dogmeat as a follower when you walk in he will spawn on the table First off after you leave the vault head STRAIGHT towards the "Super Duper Mart" once you reach the old blown up farm house a random event should be taking place on the road it can be anything from just a mad brahmin to a full unit of brotherhood, outcast or enclave soldiers one time I got close to 2000 caps worth of loot from one event. "PS" don't save until you get a really good event because you can just reload your auto save and appear outside the vault and try again. And after you finish that you can walk out to the edge of the water you should see a ruined car and trash lying around as well as DOZENS of mirelurk eggs "Sometimes guarded by mirelurks" on the ground and on a tall pointed rock, You will always get a few hundred caps worth of regular and softshell meat no matter what so.. Okay I would like to thank the other person for telling me this cheat. First go to a seller (like Moria's shop in Megaton)See if she has two items(sometimes it will work I think if you have both high Barter and Repair This might work)Buy the one with the most needed Weapon repair then sell it. Go to Walter and Walter's water valve repair mission Afetr the mission he will ask you to sell him some scrap metal and While doing Moira's mission's She'll tell you to Go into this.. To do this you need access to Paradise falls. Walk around near this bar and there will be this guy and skip his dialouge and he will give you a bunch of useful items they can be some useful junk, weapons, ammo, or health. So if you need items for free go to this guy. To get alot of caps in this game you need to do the Nuka Cola Challenge. And inside the girls house and when she isn't looking rob her blind. You will get alot of bad Karma but it could be really worth it. This is a bobblehead that you can find in Vault 101 and it raises your medicine skill to 10. Ok, I finally found out where all of the fat men in Fallout 3 are. There are only nine in the game! They are on a dead man near the scrapyard, at fort constantine, sewer olney, fort bannister, germantown police HQ basement, evergreen mills, galaxy news radio station on the dead brotherhood soldier that gets killed by the super mutant behemoth, white house utility tunnel on concrete island, capitol building (west entrance). I will be posting where all the mini nukes are soon!I S O M 9 7 Watch your karma level. If it becomes too evil a group of mercs called the regulators will come and try to kill you. I am being dead serious. As you walk around the wasteland you will come across outcast brother hood as they make patrols. Follow them [ it's a little slow but worth it ] they will come under attack and kill what is attacking them and you can go collect items from thier kills. Use the vats system on the outcasts and notice thier life bars are going following them untill one or all of them die and take thier armor and weapons. Thier armor can be used to repair brotherhood of steel armor can also use this tactic with the caravans and get thier items also. This is fairly easy to get. If you side with the Mechanist during the Super Human Gambit Quest, and help him protect his facility from the ANTagonizer, and kill her and take the Mechanist her clothes, he will give you a special Laser Pistol called Protectron's 3 Achievements There are 72 achievements for Fallout here to see them all.
